Our cultural and global conflicts are heated. I’d like to do my small part, lending some ideas to help clarify them.
Synthesizing across disciplines into philosophical screeds heavily influenced by great American thinker Joseph Campbell, hopefully I help make some sense out of the messy state of our world.
With liberal arts undergrad (English Lit./Chemistry) and Food Science doctorate, my education is broad, practical and left me curious to learn more. With experience in scientific research, investment, product development, sales, real estate, entrepreneurship, aquaculture, hospitality and philanthropy, I’m proud to know my way around a crazy array of sectors, put myself in a lot of different people’s shoes and get along with nearly anyone. Also an involved Dad and husband, family comes first but I’m also a hedonist, workaholic, political junky, foodie, live music enthusiast, psychedelic explorer, salt water angler and art lover.
I’m enjoying this writing, but new to sharing my ideas in long form and very much an amateur. So, thanks for taking the time to read. As a music nerd, I also like to put a song or music video at the start of each essay with the right themes and tone to go along with the writing.
